Trade is no longer a linear path—it’s a global, dynamic network. The Mobility Gallery at the DP World Flow Pavilion introduced this concept not through explanation, but through play. Designed as a kinetic opening to the Pavilion’s deeper narrative, it transformed the complex systems of global logistics into an intuitive, hands-on experience.

Open designed the Mobility Gallery as an immersive digital game-space. At its core: a vast 10-metre touch table, where players collaborated to trace global trade routes and overcome real-world logistical challenges. Each move unlocked stories—cinematic journeys of everyday goods powered by DP World, from coffee and electronics to essential medical supplies.

A 12-metre enveloping LED wall surrounded the gameplay, visually transforming the space into a living map of the world, where containers moved in real time, data pulsed like light, and the rhythms of smart logistics came alive. Across three clusters of content, visitors discovered how DP World connects continents, customers, customs, and cargo—effortlessly and intelligently.

The Mobility Gallery proved that complexity can be made joyful. By turning global logistics into a tactile, cinematic challenge, it helped visitors grasp the sheer scale of DP World’s operations—and their importance to everyday life. It wasn’t just informative—it was transformative, setting the tone for the Pavilion with a message of seamless connection, empowered by data, driven by design.
