A UNESCO World Heritage Site and the birthplace of modern Saudi Arabia, Diriyah is fast transforming into one of the world’s foremost historical, cultural and lifestyle tourism destinations in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. For Diriyah Gate Company's participation in Cityscape Global Riyadh, OpenLab were challenged to design and turnkey deliver a 405 sqm double decker exhibition stand experience to establish Diriyah as a frontrunner in the future of real estate.

Our approach was to simple: create a standout booth that reflected Diriyah’s authentic, warm and welcoming identity. Textured finishes, soft draping and wood detailing brought organic warmth, while an ambitious built canopy with 6m high, 25m long fins and draped fabric created a sense of understated, humble grandeur that is characteristic of Diriyah.

The open design invited guests to flow from all directions and experience reveal moments from different angles. Large scale content surfaces highlighting key aspects of the development, alongside a 12m wide scale model, delivered an impactful message on Diriyah’s scale and ambition.

A thoughtfully crafted experience that stood out against the competition, complete with private meeting rooms, VIP hospitality mezzanine and Majlis, all managed seamlessly by our onsite hosting team.

Within the first day, the Diriyah client team had exceeded their sales lead targets, testimony to the success of the booth design and operations in hosting opportunities for meaningful conversations.
