How do you make global trade fun, accessible and rewarding for the next generation?

Taking inspiration from ‘escape room’ gameplay blended with the latest pedagogical thinking, Open designed an innovative physical x digital tech experience. A 50-minute hands-on challenge for groups of 25, transporting them on a journey of global trade from automated port operations to the future of cargo transportation.

Critical to the experience was the seamless integration of custom digital applications, physical props/interaction points and triggerable screen content – creating a connected journey across all touch points from beginning to end.

Popular with pupils and teachers alike, FlowLab built understanding of DP World’s core business, as well as new technologies in the sector – inspiring the future global trade superstars.

Today, FlowLab is available to teachers and students to download or play online – the popularity of FlowLab has become a springboard for developing a new DP World Education Platform with a wide range of school resources.
